Self Portrait

I was a bit bored this evening and decided to mess around with lighting equipment that just so happens to be sitting in my office. Setting the timer on the camera has never been so amusing. If someone was to watch me, this is what they would see..... set up the camera, push the button, sit down, pose, wait for the flash, get back up, check the picture, adjust the camera and start all over again. Watching this, they would have felt bad, grabbed the camera off the tripod and snapped a few just to make my life easier. After an hour of posing, I'm happy with the results. Everyday I am learning new things in this photography world and this project helped out.

I had the opportunity to photograph Brain and Ashlee's wedding. They were married in the Mesa Arizona Temple.

My Model Truck Strobist

I recently began assisting Jerry Ferguson, a great wedding photographer. He introduced me to strobist. Since I need a picture of my truck for my window cleaning website, I decided to use it as my first strobist project. The truck was great to work with. She did everything I said and kept a smile.

Two off camera bare flashes, both at full power.

The sun dropped quickly, but the fun didn't end. I put a third flash in the cab. The picture below is the same, but I put a blue paper over the flash.
